Recipe 4 All: Apricot Bars Recipe
APRICOT BARS INGREDIENTS:

Apricot Bars

Instructions:
Yield: 1 servings
2/3cups Fried apricots
½cups Soft butter
¼cups Sugar
1cups Sifted flour
¼teaspoon Baking powder
¼teaspoon Salt
1cups Brown sugar (packed)
2  Eggs well beaten
½cups Chopped nuts

Rinse and chop apricots, cover with water and boil for 10 minutes. Drain, cool. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 8 x 8 x 2 pan. Mix until crumbly, butter, sugar and flour. Pack into pan. Bake about 25 minutes, or until light brown. Sift together 1/3 cup flour, baking powder and salt. Gradually beat brown sugar into eggs. Add flour mixture, mix well. Mix in vanilla, nuts, apricots. Spread over baked layer. Bake 30 minutes or until done. Cool in pan. Cut into bars.
