FONDUE #1 INGREDIENTS:

Fondue #1

Instructions:
Yield: 4 Servings
1lb Gouda cheese
2tablespoon Butter
¼cups Flour
cups Milk
2teaspoon Garlic; finely chopped
1/8teaspoon Nutmeg
¼cups Dry white wine
2teaspoon Kirsch
  Bread; cubed
  Pepper to taste

Grate the cheese. melt the butter in a saucepan and add the flour, stirring with a wire whisk. Add the milk, stirring rapidly with whisk. When blended and smooth, add the garlic, pepper, nutmeg and wine. Add the kirsch, if desired. Serve hoit with bread cubes for dipping. If the sauce is to be used over vegetables, omit the kirsch.
