MEAT CAKES INGREDIENTS:

Meat Cakes

Instructions:
Yield: 18 Meat loave
lb Lean ground beef
½lb Bulk Italian sausage
½cups Minced onion
1teaspoon Italian seasoning
1teaspoon Salt
2teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
½teaspoon Dried sage
1cups Unsweetened applesauce
½cups Whole wheat bread crumbs
½cups Unprocessed bran

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Mix all ingredients together well. Place 1/3 cup (2 oz.) mixture in each of 16 muffin cups. Bake at 350F. until done, about 1 hour. Remove from muffin tins. Serve hot or cold. Note: Nice for a picnic. Yield: 16 meat cakes Nutrient analysis of 1 meat cake: ½ starch/bread exchange; 2 lean meat exchanges; 150 Calories; 12 g protein; 8 g fat; 8 g carbohydrate; 360 mg sodium; 41 mg cholesterol.
