Peel grapefruit. Cut ½ the peel in thin strips. Discard remainder. Cover with boiling water. Let stand 10 minutes. Drain. Cover with cold water. Let stand ½ hour. Add diced pulp of grapefruit, orange, and lemon. Cover with cold water. Let stand 24 hours. Boil slowly 1 hour. Add sugar. Stir until dissolved. Let stand 24 hours.
