PENUCHE FILBERTS … INGREDIENTS:

Penuche Filberts (Michael)

Instructions:
Yield: 36 servings
2cups Toasted filberts (hazelnuts)
1cups Brown sugar
  Pinch slat
1/3cups Water
1tablespoon Butter
½teaspoon Mapleine

Combine sugar, salt, and water and boil three minutes; add butter, stir until melted. Remove from heat, add mapleine, stir until syurp begins to cloud, add filberts and stir until syurp is quite firm. Place on buttered platter. Break apart with fork.
