2 T real butter 1 t Angostura bitters
Saute mushrooms in butter. Brown the flour in your iron skillet, stirring constantly over med. high heat. Add 1/3 cup juice form the canned mushrooms and the wine. Thicken with the browned flour sifted in a little at a time. Next stir-in the seasonings. Cook overa medium heat for 10 minutes stirring occassionally. Pour over prepared steaks. Everyone likes a good steak sauce. I prefer home-made bottled-commercial types. This one is an original and I am proud of it. Enjoy!
