Recipe 4 All: WINE-MUSHROOM STEAK SAUCE* Recipe
WINE-MUSHROOM STE… INGREDIENTS:

WINE-MUSHROOM STEAK SAUCE*

Instructions:
Yield: 8 servings
1  Med. can sliced mushrooms
¾cups Burgundy wine
tablespoon Browned flour
1  Garlic clove minced
½teaspoon White pepper
1tablespoon Lemon juice
  Salt to taste
1tablespoon Soy sauce

2 T real butter 1 t Angostura bitters

Saute mushrooms in butter. Brown the flour in your iron skillet, stirring constantly over med. high heat. Add 1/3 cup juice form the canned mushrooms and the wine. Thicken with the browned flour sifted in a little at a time. Next stir-in the seasonings. Cook overa medium heat for 10 minutes stirring occassionally. Pour over prepared steaks. Everyone likes a good steak sauce. I prefer home-made bottled-commercial types. This one is an original and I am proud of it. Enjoy!
