1cups Shortening
3cups Sugar; creamed
4  Eggs
1cups Milk; sweet
5¼cups Flour
1teaspoon Baking soda; dissolved in 1
4teaspoon Baking powder
1teaspoon Vanilla
¼teaspoon Nutmeg

This makes 6 dozen cookies.. Note: Combine ingredients. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto cookie sheets, bake in moderate 350 F. oven.
