CLEAN AND CUT the whole broccoli into small pieces. Use all of the broccoli except the end chunks. Mix together the broccoli, onion, the mayonnaise, vinegar and sugar. Twenty minutes before serving, toss the salad. Toss with the bacon and the dressing.
