Slice zucchini ¼ inch thick, toss with lemon juice and put into refrigerator for 2 or 3 minutes. Heat bacon drippings, brown onion for 5 minutes, add zucchini and cook for 5 minutes. Add stewed tomatoes, salt, pepper and oregano and cook 5 minutes longer. Cover while cooking.
