Fry bacon in butter. Dust meat with flour and brown in the bacon and butter mixture. Add soup and soup mix (dump mix in a bowl stir to blend all ingredients and use half save remainder for other purposes), tomato sauce, beef broth, and garlic powder. Salt will probably not be needed due to the use of bacon. Mix well and bring to a boil on the stove top. Place in oven and bake for 1½ hours to 2 hours at 350 degrees. Add the mushrooms during the last 30-45 minutes. Serve over noodles or rice.
